*PLEASE FULL VIEW*
Poor boy has to put up with so much and he deals with it with much angst. And I love how he's described with startingly green eyes.. the people making the movies seemed to overlooked that, as you all probably noticed.

I finished the book and was inspired to draw fanart.. I'd explain my reasoning behind this but.. it would be a spoiler. Kinda. Barely. It works without it.
Anyway... I like the way Hedwig turned out (I did use a reference) and the overall style of this one.. I did it completely on the comp so I could work quickly, and I'm happy with the way it turned out :D

Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling.. OBVIOUSLY.

Everything was done by me (with help from a reference for the owl) with Adobe Photoshop Elements and a wacom graphire, if anybody was curious.

Yeah, it bothers me that those who made the movies sort of neglected how he has "startlingly green eyes" too. At least I noticed that on a lot of promotional products they computer edited them to be green. I have a Poster Book for the first movie, and he has startlingly green eyes in it. (Very obviously green eyes.) I wish they'd given him green eyes in the films themselves, though... since it's supposed to be so important later on, that he has his mother's eyes.

Impressive Harry pic. Love the expressionism and the fact you didn't neglect Hedwig!
Pitty no Harry/Bella or Harry/Cho deviations with an approving Hedwig.

Meh I am weird I love Harry/Tonks as well....

Although I never remember reading where it said 'startingly green' (which doesn't mean it didn't, I have the memory of a goldfish most of the time XD), I love how you made Harry's eyes so vibrant. It's definately a good look for him :flirty: And I also like the way you shaded/highlighted his hair, especially the blue-ish tint at the top. Oh, and Hedwig is pretty too ^__^
